Myostaal SB Tablets

Osteoporosis is a systemic bone disease that makes the bones porous, fragile and prone to fractures. Osteoporosis is a silent disease which generally causes no symptoms until bones become so thin and weak that a minor injury can result into a fracture. It is usually seen in old age people and is a very common ailment seen in postmenopausal women.

Myostaal SB Tablets is an Ayurved formulation for the management of postmenopausal and senile osteoporosis. Myostaal SB offers natural calcium in the form of Kukkutandatvak Bhasma (Processed Hen Egg Shell). Shatavari (Asparagus racemosus) and Asthisamhruta (Cissus quadrangularis) in Myostaal SB control osteoclastic (bone resorbing) activity and stimulate osteoblastic (bone building) activity. In an experimental study Myostaal SB is documented for its anti-resorptive effect against osteoporosis induced by ovariectomy in rats and it also promoted bone re-mineralization as documented by improvement in Bone Mineral Density (BMD).
