Entostal is an anti-diarrhoeal and anti-dysenteric preparation. Kutaja (Holarrhena antidysenterica), Daruharidra (Berberis aristata) and Musta (Cyperus rotundus) in Entostal are proven anti-diarrhoeals and control excessive fluid loss due to their astringent effect. Mocharasa (Bombax malabaricum) and Bilva (Aegle marmelos) are efficacious anti-diarrhoeals and they also relieve associated pain.
