Dilapsin is a natural digestant and carminative. Daruharidra (Berberis aristata), Shunthi (Zingiber officinale), Pippali (Piper longum) and Chitraka (Plumbago zeylanica) in Dilapsin are effective appetisers, digestives and anti-flatulents. Daruharidra (Berberis aristata), Sharapunkha (Tephrosia purpurea) and Katuka (Picrorhiza kurroa) improve liver functions. Svarnapatri (Cassia angustifolia) is an effective bowel regulator.
