Dysmenorrhoea is a very commonly occurring condition and about 25-50% of females are affected by it in late teens and early twenties. The exact cause is unknown. Uterine rigidity is considered to be one of the reasons. About 8-13% of females, in the above mentioned age group, are affected with very severe pain, causing abstinence from work.
Menocramp is a comprehensive formula in the management of Dysmenorrhoea and Premenstrual syndrome. Menocramp contains Shodhit Guggul (Commiphora wightii) and Khurasani Ova (Hyoscyamus niger) to reduce abdominal cramps. Eranda (Ricinus communis) and Dashamoola to relieve low back pain. Ashoka (Saraca indica), Lodhra (Symplocos racemosa) and Kumari (Aloe barbadensis) in Menocramp ease the menstrual flow. Asvagandha (Withania somnifera) and Jatamansi (Nardostachys jatamansi) alleviate stress and anxiety.

Dosage:
In Dysmenorrhoea
– One tablet thrice daily for 3-5 days or as directed by the Physician.
In Premenstrual Syndrome
– One tablet thrice daily, to be started 7-8 days before the onset of menstruation and to be continued throughout the period or as directed by the Physician.
